Sycamore Creek Senior Living
Originally designed as an independent living community in 2018, the facility has been redesigned as an assisted living community.
Conversions are often complicated, as building codes and licensing requirements are different for independent versus assisted living. We performed a full code review with the City’s building and licensing departments to ensure full compliance with the conversion.
We added caregiver spaces, converted the “self-serve” laundry room to a commercial laundry facility and added a whole-building generator. Our knowledge of senior building codes and the sometimes challenging and contradictory local zoning code, building code, and state licensing requirements, really served our client well.
