Mick Schaefer, AIA | NCARB | LEED GA

Architect

Mick is a cheerful and conscientious team player and problem-solver. He shows obvious concern for the success of projects and applies value oriented thinking to benefit clients. He has found success in a wide variety of project types ranging in scope from a few thousand dollars to many millions. He was the first non-partner to become a licensed architect at Vessel and has led by example.

He has served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, but perhaps most impressively, he navigated the Master of Architecture program at the University of Kansas without the benefit of coffee. When he’s not architecting, Mick enjoys volunteering at church and spending time with his wife, two boys, and the Goldendoodle that his sales genius wife talked him into.
