Meet Michelle Hamilton

Michelle was destined to join the design industry in business development. Raised by both a designer and high-performance “sales guy,” her childhood dinner table consisted of chats about color theory and how to close a great deal! Admittedly a table full of “Type A” personalities, they were both the party throwers and consummate room workers who loved people and creativity! Michelle went on to study art and received a double MFA in ceramics and glass from Washington University.

Michelle has had a unique climb to her business development and marketing expertise enjoying roles as a college educator, high-end commercial furniture sales rep, leading a marketing team at the agency level, and then back to the AEC industry working for architects and designers. Michelle’s favorite part of her job is creating lasting and meaningful relationships through connecting others with needed solutions and being part of a creative team that design spaces that bring joy to the users. She is an active member of the commercial real estate industry serving as board director to CREW St. Louis and mentoring young women in the early stages of their careers.

Michelle is responsible for nurturing current Vessel relationships and growing our incredible slate of happy clients with new business opportunities.

Michelle is married to the equally creative Phillip, and they have two kids, daughter Kendall and son Maximo. A fun side note, you will find Michelle’s glass and ceramic art in over 100 private and public collections. Twice named an “International Emerging Leader in Glass Art,” her work appears in a museum, corporate collections, books, and publications. She currently works with art dealers on commissions for architectural projects coast-to-coast.
