Motor Avenue Test Fit

Architecture begins before land is purchased and a building is designed. In many situations, clients may not know what they truly need for their project - new or old. That’s where we come in to help them figure it out! Vessel performs test fit analyses to help clients think critically and strategically about smart go-no-go decisions early on in the process. This feasibility service is a valuable way for clients to save time and money, before getting too deep into a project or site that may not work. There is value in finding out “the perfect piece of property” will work and of equal importance won’t work.

The feasibility study completed for this opportunity was to determine whether the property and the project scope aligned. The client’s goal was a new senior living community that would feature both assisted living and memory care units and an abundance of modern spaces and amenities. In the end, we determined this site would not be the best fit for the needs of the project.

Whether a client moves forward with a project or not, bringing in an architect early to conduct a feasibility study will ultimately save time and money, so that an owner’s investment is best utilized for the final project.
