National Assisted Living Week

In honor of National Assisted Living Week, we want to feature some of our favorite AL projects currently in the works and from over the years.

Cedarhurst of Topeka

This prototype redesign focuses both on gathering people together, and creating a sense of community throughout the facility. The new unit layout provides residents with ample sunlight and a patio off each assisted living unit.

The Oaks at Algonquin

This project was a redesign of Spectrum Retirement’s prototype community into a platform for creating fresh and relevant environments for today’s modern senior residents. Our team responded by modernizing nearly every detail without compromising the feeling of home… a Senior Living facility must embody.

Balfour Potomac

The design speaks of residential luxury through an elegant expression of mass and proportion that is elevated above other, more average, senior living options. The design process led our team to consider each design element in light of the human experience of enjoying each specific places in the building.

Palos Heights Senior Living

This linear site situated along the Calumet Channel offers a nice landscape buffer to the north and a suburban neighborhood to the South. The community offers many amentities including a courtyard, library, salom, cafes, and activity spaces.

Newbridge Retirement Community

Located on nearly six acres of land in the beautiful rolling countryside of southeast Missouri, the property will feature 47 apartments for assisted living, as well as 36 memory care units organized into two household models. A variety of amenities will be available to residents including a café, salon, pub with outdoor seating, fitness and therapy room, restaurant style dining with outdoor seating, outdoor courtyards, art activity areas and a theatre room.
